The Bush administration asked US Lawmakers to allow the Secretary of the Treasury the power to buy up to $700 Billion in failed assets from banks and business in the US to hopefully east the current economic crisis we face today. Not since the great Depression has this country seen such its economy in such turmoil. Today in Washington is hoping to have a plan laid out by the Monday. "It would be my hope, that this could be resolved today, that we had a day for the American people and members of Congress to review the legislation on the Internet that we could bring something to the floor possibly Sunday night or Monday morning," Pelosi said in an interview earlier today.

Vice Presidential Candidate and Governor Sarah Palin is again defending her statements about foreign policy. Palin believes that being as close to Russia as she is will help bolster her foreign policy. Now while I admit Obama doesn’t have any real experience in this arena wither how does proximity play into account? Wouldn’t this be like me saying I know how to play pool because I like next to a bar?
